Come and get in the festive spirit making some adornments to brighten up your home!

In the morning, we will make willow trays that can be used as hot plates (perfect for hot dishes at your Christmas Lunch), drying trays, or wall decorations. Learn how to prepare and work with willow, making a willow hoop and then weaving willow back and forth to turn it into a tension tray. It is the same technique for a Catalan basket base so a good introduction to a different basketry technique. 

In the afternoon, there is the option to work in both rush and willow learning some more basic basketry techniques as you weave some beautiful creations to decorate your home with. Everyone will make several decorations to take home choosing from a range of projects: hearts, stars and trees.
